Would I continue? The last chp made me continue. I loved their growing intimacy and the lack of sex didn't bother me because their budding trust meant so much. What she survived.I won't describe, but it's beyond horrific. It is rare that I like both the H and the h in a story, but I did! Oldie has a quiet strength about her that I couldn't help but admire. He threads his fingers thread through mine and he brings my hand up to his lips, pressing a kiss there. She's it! He'll wait forever for her to be ready for him. Yes, it sounds brutal, BUT it also has one of the most perfectly imperfect, head over heels, super alpha male protector heroes ever. It's very dark yet has a lightness about it that makes it very easy to read. This book is hard-core, but it's also not.
